I interned with the ‘Structured Credit Trading’ desk of Principal Funding and Investments group (yes, the name is fancy) in the Securities division of Goldman Sachs Bangalore. As I write this article, I am sitting in the comfort of my home, while most of my friends are having their last day of internship (my internship ended a week earlier - phew!).

You have a consistent 95plus in all cat attempts and you describe it as hell????i am not demeaning your struggle but maybe you were hard on your life with the perspective of yours. People slog for 4 years and dont get 96 plus which was your first year attempt percentile. I tooke up a 3.35 lpa job(ya you read that right), lost my father in 2017 with no pension only until 2018 bare enough to survive my mother and me. With eyes filled with big dreams had the leverage of giving cat only once in life unlike many others who have time and no financial burden to back them up. Managed XIMB in my first attempt and am happy.Good luck bro and yes i wouldnt call it a hell what you went through but hanging there for 4 years takes nerve and family back up. So kudos to you and your family.

Thanks for sharing your story and I'm really sorry about your loss. We all face challenges that get the best of us and what you did for yourself and your family is really inspiring. I was capable of doing good in CAT and had resources available to help me out (some from family and some by myself) but this article is about the journey to that score. Not the individual scores or the number of attempts but probably more about my fight to keep going on in difficult times. A 1000+ word article might not be the idle place to write about your story that has roots going deep to childhood. A lot has been omitted in here but I hope everyone who reads this has something to take out of it. I congratulate you on your success and am grateful that I got to know a little about you. This has humbled me all the more. Hoping the best for you and your family. :)
