I was very eager for my summer internships and wanted to get into a firm from where I can make out the most and gain maximum marketing insights as I could. I had an inclination towards FMCG sector and Digital marketing and worked for it, did my preparations for the same and landed up in a financial advisory firm offering me a didgital marketing role.

Indianmoney.com is a company involved in financial education company which is one of its kind in India. In today’s day of technology advancement, it has become much easier to conduct fraudulent activities. It is unrealistic to expect unbiased and genuine free consultation for finance related products. The industry of fin – tech as a whole is quite biased and also works majorly only for the revenue earning and not to ensure that the customers get educated to protect themselves from the frauds. The people in the country are not completely aware and educated about the various investment plans like mutual funds, real estate, fixed deposits, insurance, loans, etc. and in order to educate them and not get cheated by companies.

It is a Lead Generation and selling company for financial products. It has a customer base of 23000 people every day so the main objective of my project was to increase the customer base by making improvements in existing processes and operations of Quality and increasing visibility of the company across different social media platforms on a digital front.

I started off with Lead Generation and targeting through LinkedIn Marketing by making Strategic alliance and collaboration with NBFCs, Investment Banks, Mutual Fund and Private equity firms. I have undergone a Competitive analysis on 2 major products of the company and came out with the recommendations for the landing page of IMC. Also, made use of Keyword extension planner to analyze the monthly volume and CPC (Cost per click), coming out with new keywords for the content.

Also worked on the Training Handbook / Manual for the Quality department of the company and reframed the statement of Purpose for the Quality by going through the Make Call Page of Lead Verification and validation. Prepared a Production report analysis and did Gap Analysis highlighting the top reasons for escalations product wise, vendor wise, Money doctor wise and the top escalations in the lead generation.

On the digital marketing front, I was responsible for Content writing on certain topics for the Digital Marketing Team and also Worked on White hat SEO- On Page Optimization and Keyword mapping. Have published news articles using News Content Infographics on the application and landing page of the website. Worked on online consumer complaints portal IamCheated.com and wrote blogs on Fraud awareness activities. Worked with Content distribution team promoting content on different social media platforms and track visibility.  Worked with YouTube promotion team to have an overview about software’s like Filimora9, TubeBuddy, VidIQ and linking it to Google Adsense and tracking the performance and visibility of the videos with the help of Google Analytics.

Overall, the project helped company collaborate with different brand companies and make their network stronger increasing their leads and making strategic alliances with the associates and increasing their number, doing production report analysis and accentuating the top reasons for escalation, optimizing the efforts taken to convert the lead by checking lead sound quality and providing recommendations on the same by optimizing lead quality for lead generation through different marketing campaigns and writing blogs and making infographics with content team promoting content on different social media platforms and increasing the visibility of the website eventually building their brand name.
