Well, where do I begin! A boy born in a nondescript village 30 kilometres from Varanasi, near Bihar border, has definitely come a long way in his life. It might sound like a movie from Bollywood but I believe there isn't anything fancy about it. In fact, I believe my life graph has been very straightforward. My father moved out of his village after securing a job in the State government police. When he got settled, he called us to live with him; I was 10 years old. For a boy, a city like Pratapgarh, where we first moved in, was full of life, the exact opposite to the calmness of a village. For a young boy, with no restriction, his bicycle and city's exploration was everything. He learnt a lot about life and realised how less he has seen, and how much still is to be seen.
But, being from a middle class, he knew it wasn't going to be easy and he had to make the best of every opportunity that would come his way. And that's what he did; maybe not the best of every opportunity but it was enough to get him to IIIT Jabalpur and then finally to FMS. Well, it sounds like a cut short story but that's how it has been for him, a dream. Everything has happened the way he had wanted, maybe not everything, but most of the pieces have fallen in the correct place for him. Could he have done better? Maybe. But it doesn't matter because the boy now doesn't care about the destination anymore but the journey. He is enjoying and dealing with everything as they come, and the most important part, he's happy.
