Each and every person on this planet has got some dreams that he wants to fulfil for himself or for some other person. Similarly, my family had a dream, to build our own home. Why this is so important? Because my father is an ex-airman and we never stayed at any one place for more than 4years and after his retirement, we really wanted to settle in. And then the day came when he bought a plot but he was yet to retire from his service. Slow and steady that day also came and the foundation was laid and then the branches. I studied at Jalpaiguri government engineering college, which is 700+ km from my home or 8-10 hours. One day I was travelling from my home to college, the train had been stranded for more than 16hours with no pantry option available. I was hungry and one of the co-passenger didn’t have anything in the last 24hours. The situation was taking a toll on us. Then while searching my bag for some chips crumbs I found a food parcel made by mom. How ABG is a part of this? It was wrapped in Freshwrapp. Why this moment is so big in my life? Because even after 20+ hours, the food was good as it can be and it helped me and my co-passenger to survive in that stranded situation. Since that day I learned 2 lessons, moment creates lifelong friendships, such good friendships that you can rely on that person in your hardships and second about the product that it really does keep the food fresh, as the product promises of keeping the food fresh for 24hours.
One situation that I will consider as the most challenging until I face another one is during my work life, my project production date was due and was given the responsibility to develop an algorithm for a complex task. I was working day and night for that and at the same time was preparing for my MBA exams. Always been a night owl where my day starts post 8 am, I pushed my limit and used to wake up at 3 am to prepare for the exams and then from 7 am to 11 pm I used to work for my client. How I deal with it: I used to watch “Ben Lionel Scott’s” videos every morning at 3 am to get that motivation. Successfully completed the client project and cleared my MBA exams. Challenging situations do teach us many important lessons in life.
