This capacity to distinguish from other market leaders is seen in different sector of ABG industries. ABG has always been the sector leader, be it viscose staple fiber, metals, cement, viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbon black, chemicals, fertilizers, insulators, financial services, telecommunications, BPO and IT services. Locally and worldwide, ABG brands and their products have touched many homes.
ABG has always been a long time part of my life. As rightly said by Miuccia Prada -"What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language". While purchasing apparel from Pantaloons, Allen Solly or Van Heusen, to name a few, among others, ABG has always been my top priority. I was always smiled by the uniqueness of the products. Compared to other products, whether it's purchasing for formal or cultural operations, the kind of clothing was un-parallel. For my personality, the ABG product has always been a distinguishing characteristic. Apart from clothing, ABG, through its telecom facilities, has touched my life as an intermediary. Compared to other carriers in the sector, the services and equipment were at par.
For any of us, the story of being at the top as for ABG is never easy. Sometime back in my career, the same kind of situation had occurred, and it had influenced my life favourably. The event instilled new confidence and belief in me. The time was difficult as my mother had to undergo angioplasty while I was in my undergraduate college. I was in my final semester and the exams were due in the next couple of weeks. When I went to know about my mother's condition, I was surprised for a while and totally upset. In this situation, I had never seen my mom. The thoughts in my mind continuously poked at me that mom who had been with me in every instance of my live and at this significant time I wished to be near to her. So I went home to my place for a few days learning the exams scheduled in a few days. With my siblings, I took care of my mother. There I wasn't able to study a lot and I was nervous about the conditions.
It is said that “Sometimes you don’t realize your own strength until you come face to face with your greatest weakness.” by Susan Gale. I was conscious that I had to pass my tests, so I decided to deal with the strange scenario I was going through. I studied late at night or early in the morning so my mother wouldn't feel stressed because of my tests. This occurred for a week until we got her back home. It was hard to remain focused in work when your beloved individual is under critical treatment. Fortunately, I was able to handle my studies along with taking excellent care of my mom and passed the tests with excellent marks effectively. This citation by Walt Disney summarizes the teaching from this live event - “All the adversity I’ve had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me…. You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you”.
