Part-A Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?
With the legacy of more than 150 years, Aditya Birla group has made great impacts on people’s life. Along with the strong business brands, ABG is known for its vision and values. The mission statement itself reflects how much the group values its customers, shareholders and employees.
The business model majorly works on sustainability. Foresightedness of ABG is the key reason behind success in 14 different industry sectors. Having business of 44 billion dollars, the international corporation has been pioneer business group in country.
The number of brands under the group cannot be count. The names of clothing brands, which tops Indian minds, are part of the Aditya Birla group. Be it Fashion sector or Telecom sector, ABG has always catered quality products and services in Indian market.
Maintaining the core values, ABG never fails to give back to society, which I personally appreciate the most. With such a generous values, it becomes self-explanatory how ABG has build a strong brand image on Indian citizens.
Part-B How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far?
Throughout the span of my academic and professional career I have been faced with numerous challenges to achieve my goal in life. The roads have never been easy and it has in turn helped to become a better individual. I have always been a person who has enjoyed the journey part more than the destination. It is because I believe that it’s not about the goal you achieve but what you become, how you overcome difficulties in order to reach to destination.
I am calm minded person who believes that whatever the obstacle, it is important to not get ahead of situation. Hence the foremost skill that has helped me to overcome any challenge has been not to go in panic state. I accept the situation that has to be overcome and do not panic. The second step is to analyse way around the hurdle. There may be multiple ways to solve a problem and it is important to weigh the consequences. At times it can be frustrating and may require enormous amount of patience. One such situation for me was to complete my engineering in order to pursue my MBA. I always wanted to pursue my MBA from a well-recognized institution like FMS. However during initial years of engineering I realized that general engineering subjects were not my forte. My ambitions did not map to what I was studying. However in order to pursue MBA I had to keep with the pace of engineering. Hence I kept my cool and took it day at a time and completed my engineering along with MBA preparations.
Hence, I have always believed that challenges and obstacles are essential to achieve the ambitions. And successful people always thrive in such situations.
