I’m writing this from a parallel universe. The only connection I have to earth is via this guy, PETER from ENGLAND. He lives in India though. Why you guys have separate countries is beyond me and believe me, we’re a highly intelligent species. Most people here felt like they’ll be FOREVER 21 because of the ease of living. But our population is undergoing a crisis of sorts. Apparently, socialism doesn’t really work when everyone is extremely intelligent. We have a king who introduced a currency “PANTALOONS” which has changed the way our world works. Your planet calls it money. We’ve been living hundreds of years without it but LIFESTYLE had to be changed. We were a stagnant bunch looking for the world to enrich us, excite us and uplift us. Pantaloons has created the kind of needs I didn’t know I had. Can I help myself and my people? Everybody is in a state of frenzy, as if we are now living in a dystopia. Peter tells me we are centuries behind earth when it comes to the way of living.
Our world experiences sudden bursts of snow due to close proximity to the cold Sun. Houses break, people are left with nothing. What if there was a way to insure them against it? We have Vibranium, the strongest material but it needs to be mined. Houses made from it will definitely withstand the calamity. There needs to be a way to help people. Peter told me how your earth deals with issues. You need money? You go to a bank. You lost your house? You have insurance. Interesting, your world is. Fascinating. Your world has Cameroon Alumina Limited to look after mining and refining. It has HINDALCO for producing metal. Impressive IDEA.
Imagine an AMERICAN EAGLE flying over our world (need a bird’s eye view). What would impress that eagle? I need to start something big. Vibranium will help people build better; clothing and better designs would help people be MORE vibrant. Insurance will allow them to not live in fear. Mining will help extract the metals we need.
So, I’ll wake up tomorrow morning and build this huge conglomerate (thanks for the idea, Peter). Because 10 years from now, I would like to warg into the eagle and see what I’ve achieved. How I’ve changed the world, because that’s what it’s about. It’s about the impact, it’s about leaving the world a better place than what it was before we were here. What will I name this company? Arise, Build, Grow (ABG- An acronym of a company from Earth that has done quite well for itself, I hear).

This world is about ambition, isn’t it? More often than not, we’re confused about what we want to do. I’m not going to pretend I had life figured out when I was 17. But, often we design a short term plan, a barrier we just have to cross. And I didn’t cross it. At first. This is story of what happened after my 12th. My entrances didn't go according to plan, a relatively low score in Boards meant that I didn't get the dream colleges. I was disappointed as I was now going to USIT. Even though the teaching was good, within few months I realized there was no scope extracurricular activities and very little exposure. Personality development is important. Learning new things, exiting the comfort zone, discovering yourself- these are things college is supposed to be about, not just academics. I took a decision to study for the entrances again once the college exams were over. I prepared for one month with complete focus. My parents were unsure as they thought it was impossible to handle college and ace the entrances, we had a fight. Going against my father was the biggest decision I’ve ever taken. Talks about derailing from the right path, aiming too high became a norm. My relationship with my father got affected. But my determination helped me beat the odds and that's when my belief in myself reach Gargantuan amounts. I aced it and got into my dream college. I came out on the other side a person who knows how to persevere, who knows how to defy the odds, who knows how to go against the world. I now know that I’m the owner of my destiny.
