Not all challenges in life can be planned and can be overcome with a planned strategy. Because Life gives us challenges every day. It's not those challenges that only tests us, but those challenges which shake our daily livelihood are the ones that make us a better version of ourselves. One such challenge is the challenge which nature had in store for the people of Chennai, The Chennai Floods of 2015.For a typical Chennai guy seeing the city hit by a flood was kind of like a scene from the movie Inception. It's simple; we were not ready for it. The fastest growing metropolitan city of the country was bought to its knees seeking for help. Guess Who came for its Help first...?

Guess Again, because it was the people of the city who proved its unity. Before anyone can reach there hands for help, The people of Chennai took it into there own hands. Houses, marriage halls, schools became flood camps. Food was prepared by people in the there houses and was distributed to the needed and the affected. Then there was the lifesaver of many, The Fishermen of Chennai who sailed in there boats across streets and rescued every person they could find to nearby relief camps. But these are just standard protocol anyone could say, but it was not the government which led this operation, but it was the YOUTH of The city. The youth worked day and night to bring back the town to its real livelihood. The social media which was seen as bane was the saving factor now; Social media became the information hub which marked the bridge between demand and supply. No one gave the order, no one made the strategy, but it was the pure instinct of the youth. From rescue operation to supply chain management to workforce management, everything happened without anyone to manage it. It gives me great pride to say I was among the youth who held the fort when nature turned it back on us. This was one of the biggest and unique challenges I had faced in my life, which taught me a lot about values and many lessons of life.

Slowly Chennai was rising back from the ashes. But, the impact of the floods was still visible in Buildings, Bridges, and houses which were affected by the water. It was evident Chennai's Real estate market needed a makeover. This was when a company's name got struck my mind; it was Ultra Tech Concrete Solutions. Transit mixers of ultra-tech were moving all around the city, carrying concrete carrying new hopes in bringing back the city to its illustrious state. Anyone with little observation could say how Ultra Tech Concrete Solutions was one the key player in the city rebuilding process. This reminded me of a quote  :

"Life's not about how hard of a hit you can give... it's about how many you can take, and still keep moving forward."

― Sylvester Stallone, Rocky Balboa

Ultra Tech Concrete  Solutions was one of the primary forces driving Chennai to Keep Moving Forward. All these happened during a critical phase of my life when I was in the last year of my UG. The scariest stage of my life, I was utterly Clueless about what to do next. But the dark clouds cleared in my mind after this brief experience. It was time for me to take a step ahead, time for me to break my limits, and Time for me to give my fullest in Cracking one of the Toughest exams of the country. CAT….
