CAT Admit Card 2024: Dates (OUT), Direct Link to Download!

As per the official notification of CAT 2024, the candidate’s admit card will be available by IIM Calcutta for download from 5th November 2024 on the official CAT 2024 website. Carrying a hard copy of the admit card to the test center on exam day is mandatory. The student will have to attach a similar passport-size photo, which they had submitted while filling out the application for the CAT exam. The CAT 2024 admit card will carry all the candidate's necessary details, including the test center address and slot. The admit card has the test taker’s basic information like name, DoB, emergency number, registration number, etc. Any discrepancy should be reported immediately to the CAT authorities. The admit card will be made available to download till the exam date.

The admit card for CAT 2024 will be accessible starting from November 5, 2024. Although the exact release time for the admit card link has yet to be announced, it is anticipated to be available around 5:00 p.m. on that day.

How to Download CAT 2024 Admit Card?

The CAT 2024 Admit Card will be available to download from the official CAT 2024 website from November 5, 2024.
Login using your credentials- CAT user ID and password which were created during the registration process.
You will be able to see the option for CAT admit card 2024.
Save the file in PDF as a soft copy and print out hard copies for your exam day.
Paste the same photograph on the admit card as used in the admission process for your exam day.

What should I do if there is an error in my CAT 2024 Admit Card?

Rectification of any errors in the admit card is necessary before your exam day. If you notice any discrepancy in your admit card regarding Name, DoB, Caste Category, Contact, or registration number, immediately report the issue to CAT 2024 authorities.

Problems Regarding CAT 2024 Admit Card Download

Website Not Working- Due to an overload of traffic or technical glitches on the CAT 2024 website, there might be issues downloading the admit card. Do not make multiple login attempts and visit the site later.
Mistake in/ ForgotLogin Credentials: There is an option of forgot credentials / Forgot password. Click on that and Reset. Details will be sent to your registered email/phone.

What to Carry with an Admit Card on the CAT 2024 Exam Day?

Take two printed copies of the admit card affixed with the same photograph you used for the registration process. You will not be allowed inside the test center without your admit card.
Carry one valid photo identity proof for the exam day and a medical certificate and scribe affidavit (if PwD)
Pens and papers will be provided at the center itself.
Avoid jewelry, electric devices, and metal items like belts/ clips.

CAT 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

All the important rules/guidelines will be available on your admit card. Mostly they comprise the following pointers:

Carry your admit card with proof of valid photo ID. The admit card should be affixed with your passport-size photograph (Similar to the one you had registered with).
Avoid jackets with multiple pockets, heavy-sole shoes, jewelry, paper, pens, calculators, smart watches, and mobile phones.
Use your extra sheets carefully as you will receive only 1 booklet.
Reach your test center well in advance to avoid any last-minute hassle. You will not be allowed to enter after the gate closing time.
Your admit card soft copy has a Google Maps link which helps in easy identification and travel to the test center.
Requests regarding test center change will not be entertained.
