Aditya Birla Group has been quintessential in making an impact on people’s lives’ across decades in different domains and geographies. Initiated by Mr. Ghanshyam Das Birla, this premier conglomerate is active in 14 industry sectors with a worth of US$44.3billion. Be it banking, fashion, cement or financial services, ABG has transformed lives everywhere.

It all started with a dream, a dream to “take India to the world”. The dream is now a vision, a vision of every individual of this country. How was this possible? To ignite such feeling in every individual.  Aditya Birla Group has been an epitome of service towards the nation and its people.

ABG has so much to offer not only to the consumers but also to the society. It is good to become great but it is great to become good. Providing healthcare facilities to more than a million people, immunizing 70 million children against polio, operating schools, providing solar lamps and midday meal for school children not only make ABG great but it makes them good. This is why ABG is so special for us. ABG makes the difference and we will the difference.

In field of healthcare, it takes care of more than 1 million people annually in 5000 medical camps and 20 hospitals. Over 5,000 physically challenged persons have been provided with artificial limbs making them self-reliant, helped immunize 70 million children against polio over the last 7 years.

I grew up watching and reciting word by word UltraTech cement advertisements on television and eating lunch packed inside Freshwrapp aluminium foils at school. Then, in my undergraduate college, pantaloons became my go-to brand for shopping and Idea cellular was the only network that served the isolated location of my college, away from the city. Now for the last 5 years, I have been wearing Van Huesen shirts and formals because they fit me the best.

What ABG is doing for the society is an inspiration for me and I dream to be part of that noble cause and this is how ABG has impacted me.

Like the ABG story, my life has also revolved around exploring new things and impacting the life of others. Be it my love for traveling, voluntary teaching or working for an NGO; I have always tried to do things in an unconventional way and live in the moment. Throughout my life, I have always followed the mantra of never giving up. Be it engineering or the MBA entrance examinations, I have always refused to settle for anything less the best.

I am proud of how far I have come but this is just a beginning, the best is yet to come!
