Facing the roadblocks

Every child in this world has a dream to achieve something. And somehow, as time goes on, his/her dream faces a lot of challenges. And I would say that I had no clear vision as to who I would want to be during my school days or I would say even during the beginning of my college days I had little idea. All I knew was I would be ending up in a software company. I knew that the scope of growth was quite less. I then wanted to see myself as a manger/consultant where the job roles are challenging and the responsibilities are quite high. Since I had a vision for the first time, there are a lot of qualities which I need to inculcate.

To be a manager or a senior consultant before 25 years of age is a tough ask and can be done if we can do an MBA in a premier institute. The first step in getting an admit is clearing the aptitude test. And the second biggest challenge is communication. I had stage fright. I had this crippling anxiety which bogged me down when I was presenting something to the class. I joined a coaching centre to ace the aptitude test and joined the toastmasters club to conquer my fears. Fast forward five years, I interned at one of the biggest MNCs as a strategy consultant. Though I still have fear, I know how to control it. Though, I am still not the best when it comes to aptitude, now I know my strengths and weaknesses. Now that I write this answer as to how I conquered challenges to achieve my ambition is because I always took the initiative to change myself to become better. #NMIMSMumbai #ABGLPWooMe
