Aditya Birla Group has enriched and touched life in a thousand ways more than we can imagine. The way that ADITYA BIRLA GROUP has placed itself and conquered the market is such that we use ADITYA BIRLA GROUP products in our daily lives and are still unaware that it’s an ADITYA BIRLA GROUP product.

‘What does this thing do?’ said an amazed child looking at a shiny almost metal looking paper when his mother was wrapping up the hot parathas in them. I had never seen them and the constant confusion was its claim that it could keep the food warm and fresh. Till today, whenever my mother packs food for me, it is always wrapped in Hindalco Freshwrapp. Years later, the mall culture finally hit and Pantaloons opened in my city .I had never visited a monument filled with clothes from different brands at one place. Here I came to know about the apparel segment where Aditya Birla is a leader with different clothes brands such as Peter England, Van Heusen, Louis Philippe, Linen Club, Liva and Forever 21.Each Company has got its unique fans who would fight for their brand without knowing that the parent company is the same and that is what makes this parent brand Aditya Birla fashion retail limited so successful.

Since childhood I had a disorder to stutter, i.e. wasn’t able to speak complete sentences without fumbling. This soon became the reason of my biggest insecurity, it impacted me in my personality build-up. I used to confine myself, the fear of being ridiculed always constrained me to limit participating in activities, interacting with people and various other ways. In class 9th, my mathematics professor, meeting her, getting to know her journey moved and inspired me a lot. She lost her right hand palm in an accident, being a right handed person she faced a lot of trouble, but challenged herself to start writing from left, which she finally aced. Then I felt if she can do the impossible why can’t I am hindering my growth from my shortcoming.

To tackle my fear and disorder, I thought why not face it to fullest?

Therefore, I joined The Global Education and Leadership Foundation for the Life Skills and Leadership Programme. The program required me to give presentations, speak in front of 40-50 people and experience public speaking. At my initial speeches I used to fail badly, but steadily I could observe improvement in myself, which gave me immense amount of self-confidence and slowly helped me to start living a life which I wanted.

From a child who was scared to speak to people because he would stutter continuously to now being a student of Management Development Institute Gurgaon, member of Delhi Technological University MUN team. Now a regular speaker at Toastmasters Club Haryana. I still daily try to be a better speaker each day and completely overcome my stuttering issue. This journey showed me how one can achieve anything one wants with some patience, perseverance and determination.
