You’re not really concerned about what a brand or a company is when you’re a child. All that matters is that the product you want is in your hands. It is only at a later stage of your life you realise it’s importance.
Growing up, one of the most annoying things were the TV advertisements that used to ruin your daily half an hour binge of your favourite shows. But these advertisements turned interesting if you could relate to it or find the graphics amazing. Arguably, one of the coolest TV advertisements was the one with water combining with fire and sand from Aditya Birla Group; taking India to the world. I still remember discussing that particular advertisement with my friends, about the man walking on water. You didn’t really figure out what exactly Aditya Birla was into making, in your childhood.
Having said that, here I was in 2012, wearing an Allen Solly shirt, trousers from Peter England, a wrist watch purchased from Forever 21 and shoes from Louis Philippe; travelling on the Bandra Worli Sea Link whilst having a bite of the warm paratha wrapped in Freshwrapp and listening to songs on my phone using the network provided by my Idea Cellular sim card thinking, is there something common in all of these things.
That is probably the moment, having had a look around and realising the amount of priceless moments I've spent in and around ABG's products right since childhood, does one actually sense the huge stature, power and the reach ABG really has in the country and worldwide. This just gives immense motivation to do good and succeed in life, and make an impact on lives.
