Aditya Birla Group has contributed to countless lives and here’s my story.
What does a child want and misses the most when he/she is away from home, in a different city? The answer for many Indian kids is simple – mom’s homemade food or in Indian language, ‘Ghar Ka Khaana’. My home town is Jaipur in Rajasthan and I was studying in Delhi for the last four years. Between no one to take care of me, the tasteless PG food and endless series of classes, my mind would constantly dive into the cloud of memories. Memories of my home, where my mother would make whatever I demanded and whenever I demanded it, hot and fresh. There is something very indescribable about the love your mom puts in while cooking your food. You can go to a 5-star or, and I am saying it with absolute surety, a 7-star restaurant to eat, you will never be as satisfied.
On one of these days, when I returned from my college, exhausted, tired and starving, already complaining about the spice less dinner I will have to eat before I dig my face back into my books, I received a parcel. Assuming it was another assignment from my college, I opened it. What was inside, could easily be described as one of the best gifts. It was a tiffin box, pink in color with a white lid, I still remember. The food was wrapped around in an aluminum foil-FRESHWRAPP. The food was still fresh, and delicious. At that point, I genuinely thought she had just made the food, and served it hot and fresh to me, in our home, on the dining table. Just like old days when I used to come back from school.
Since that day, I asked my mother to send me food on every weekend the same way. She would make chicken biryani, noodles, sandwiches and everything that I loved to send me every Saturday. To everybody’s surprise it remained fresh and tasty. I would impatiently look forward to those few minutes of happiness throughout the academically rigorous week. No matter what happened, how bad my week was, everybody knew on Saturday mornings, Eisha will wakeup happy and excited.
I whole heartedly thank the Aditya Birla Group for their product - Freshwrapp. It gave my mom a guarantee with respect to the hygiene, freshness and quality of food after hours of making. It gave me strength, happiness and a warm feel of home away from home.
