Life without challenges is never fun. Humans are known to seek challenges to instill a feeling of satisfaction and self-worth. In this ever lasting race to be the best, one is bound to face hurdles and obstacles in the form of various life situations which might make anyone pause for a moment and think if this race is worthy of their time. But this rat race is so influential, no one ever realizes that there are better ways of running.

The race usually begins once we clear our 10th standard and officially enter the “teenage” life. Life offers 3 roads to the new born teenagers in the form of Science, Arts and Commerce. Without any firm guidance of a mentor that is ever so needed at this stage of their life, they are forced into making an uninformed decision in a matter of few weeks.

Once you choose a path to tread upon, you realize that it perhaps was not a good decision but you are scared of the “immaterial” consequences you’ll face if you decide to go back to the starting point. Perhaps, our society needs to take a deep breath and take a moment to think if they’re helping the young generation or just derailing their confidence.

One of the best ways to overcome this challenge is to believe in your parents. That is what I did when I faced this confusing situation. It is always said that your family is the only entity which will always think for the best of you. Tweaking a quote by Albus Dumbledore, “Help will always be given at family to those who ask for it”

How has ABG affected me and our society?

“Take care of your costume and your confidence will take care of itself”

I find this quote so powerful because I can always relate to it. When a person dresses well, his/her self confidence is given a major push. People say that no one has the time to judge others in this busy world but our human mind is built to compare itself with others.

In my journey of being “fashion-aware” , I have moved from wearing the same shabby shorts for every occasion to being more thoughtful about dressing according to the occasion. And this journey has been made possible because of brands like Pantaloons, Allen Solly and Peter England.

The apparels that each of the brands provide are so unique and simplistic that one never needs to hop onto another store to look for fashion solutions. I have been lucky enough to have had a fashion consultant in the form of my sister who herself finds her wardrobe filled with garments and footwear from Allen Solly.  All the 3 brands come up with the best collections for all the seasons and the pricing system they follow is attractive enough to gauge the interest of any customer.

They have tied up with all the major shopping malls in major cities in order to ensure that its products reach the customers seamlessly. Apart from that, they also provide e-commerce platform to this ever-busy generation, hence making shopping possible at a finger click.

When the brand becomes consumer centric, the consumer becomes brand centric. ABG has provided so many fashion options to the society and has challenged the status quo of other major players of the industry at such affordable rates helping the nation become more fashionable.
