Aditya birla group had its major impact on me as I was very keen to get into their college for my engineering. Here is my story.
It was a child kota night in the month of February. Tring tring. I picked up. My father was on the other hand.
Dad- Beta, have you filled your BITSAT form yet.
When you are planning to complete it?
Me- I'm not filing BITSAT, I'll definitely crack jee this year.
We should avoid wasting money on its entrance fee
Fast forward.....
21st may, 2012
I had already screwed up my Jee second paper and which ofcourse meant that the JEE scores were out by then and my rank was 13,669.
I'm in Delhi BITSAT centre revising Arihant BITSAT book while others were busy bird watching.
I had failed to score less in my Aieee paper. So a poor performance in BITSAT would have meant me becoming an nitian which i didn't want at any cost.
While entering for the exam, I could hear people saying, "bits is a good institute, but getting admission here is very tough, kids need to score atleast 300 to get admission.
2 hours into the paper
I had solved every question I could. Yes, in 2 hours I had completed most of those 150 questions.
I had to check again. Not many questions were left and I had one extra hour to solve 12 extra questions. I finally decided to let go and submitted the answers with 2 minutes remaining.
And the screen said:
Your total score is 301.
For the whole 2 minutes I was confused whether it was a good score or bad.
Finally, I didn't get through but this exam taught me a lot. I got the positivity inside me about learning from the failures.
