conglomerate, headquartered in Worli, Mumbai, India. It operates in 35 countries with more than 120,000 employees worldwide. The group was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. The group has interests in viscose staple fiber, metals, cement (largest in India), viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbon black, chemicals, fertilizers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services.
The group had a revenue of approximately US$44.3 billion in year 2018. It is the third-largest Indian private sector conglomerate.
Aditya Birla Group is indeed big in my life, as I have been using the services from the chain of products provided by them since a long period. Be it Fashion sector brands such as Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England , Pantaloons and People. The fact that the telecom service operator that I use is ‘idea’ from past 8 yrs which belongs to ABG group proves that it does play a crucial part since the beginning of my life in this digital world.
The construction of our beautiful house where we used UltraTech cement as it was sold under best quality product also cearly proves that ABG group has a big place in my life. The chain of products that comes under ABG group assures top notch quality and reliability.
