Since childhood I had been an introvert. Sitting at one corner, reserved and gulping cold drink was my attitude. Big fear in my life was to speak in front of an audience, and giving presentations just used to give me nightmares. There was this one time I remember how scared I was during when sitting in an interview. It was this one time that a speaker had come to my school, and that day just changed my life. What he said was just like he reciting my story. Fearful as I was, he was too in his childhood. When I saw someone with the same story as mine, stand so confidently with no tint of fear and embarrassment, a motivation surged into me. If he could then why couldn’t I? That was the changing point in my life. From that point onwards I decided that if I want to get ahead in life it could only be when I have confidence. What initially I feared , the stage , I made sure I become so habitual of it that my fear is no longer there. I purposefully took part in stage competitions like debates, declamations, dramatics and dance. My participation in all these events helped me build my confidence. And now here I am ready to take on every challenge that comes my way.
