There are numerous challenges that I have faced in life. The months of September and October, 2017 was one of the most challenging periods for me. This was a period of transition in my team as many old members were moved to different projects and new members came in. We had received multiple high impact projects with visibility till the CEO level. Being one of the more experienced members, I had to take complete ownership and accountability of these projects as well oversee the training of the new members which would make the transition smoother in future. On a personal level, I was struggling with my preparation for CAT which made it all the more difficult to manage my time. I had to create a well structured plan both at personal and professional level. I kept realistic deadlines and always ensured that I do not compromise on quality at any level. Finally, I was able to successfully complete my projects in the organization. I received enormous client appreciation and this also provided a boost to the engagement. For my significant work, I was also awarded by my company.
This was my greatest achievement as I could successfully overcome my challenges. Instead of compromising on any front, I could manage my time effectively which helped me excel at work and also perform well in CAT. These 2 months helped me develop multiple skills. I also felt extremely proud to see the client engagement with Mu Sigma grow as I had been associated with the engagement since the start. I was glad that I could also help out in the Business Development.
These were one of the most challenging periods for me personally as well as professionally and I got to learn a lot of life lessons from this period. I am sure that the learnings I got from this will help me a lot in my career.
