Why Aditya Birla Group Is Big In My Life
It is fair to say that the majority of the Indians in our generation are touched by any of the Aditya Birla group’s work. May it be the Ultratech cement which helped construct modern India or any brand like Peter England, Allen Solly or Pantaloons from Aditya Fashion and Retail Limited which helped dress Indians, everyone has the touch of Aditya Birla group in their life. Even I belong to this majority, I got introduced to Aditya Birla group when I was very young with Ultratech cement. I vaguely remember my father telling me that Ultratech cement which was used in the construction of our home belongs to Aditya Birla group which happens to be the same group which constructed the famous Birla Mandir in Hyderabad. Even in my teen years, I was part of the Aditya Birla where my first mobile had Idea network. I remember the days when I had to choose the network as it was a decision which has long term effects. I like many members of my family ended up choosing Idea prepaid due to excellent network availability and customer support. In my graduation, I became more cognizant of the diseases that were still plaguing our country while I was studying pharmacy, one of which was Polio. Despite the best efforts of many institutions, there were still traces of the disease in many parts of the country. I still remember when Mrs. Rajashree Birla donated a total of $7.2 million for the eradication of polio. This shows the impact and reach of the Aditya Birla group in the lives of modern Indians and the legacy they built through their businesses and philanthropy.
How I Overcame Challenges To Achieve My Ambitions In Life So Far
It is common for everyone to face challenges in their lives. But the way we approach them differs from one another. I faced a very peculiar problem in my early stages of work-life. I am a pharmacy graduate who chose to opt for a career in the regulatory part of drug development. This was due to my interest in the domain after studying the complexities involved in a drug to be commercially viable in the market. I had a very technical role as a drug safety associate whose main work was to analyze various medical reports related to various medicines. During one fine day, when I entered the office I saw many people casually roaming and none were at desks working. I got to know that the client was furious when the onsite lead did not properly manage data and had left the work. The client wanted us to prioritize the data cleaning and organizing part. My assistant manager chose me and 4 more people to work on it and deliver the output within 7 days. I and the other 4 associates were new to excel and had no prior experience in data cleaning. I was very interested in the problem it demanded me to learn a new tool and master it in a very short span of time. I tried mastering it in 2 days and we were able to optimize the cleaning and organization and we delivered the task in 6 days. Even after the work, I didn’t stop mastering excel. In my next job, I faced a similar issue and was able to solve it because of my experience with it before. But I felt that these problems were common everywhere and the main root causes were improper organization, prioritization, and management skills. So, it is vital to be prepared for uncertainties and have a continuous learning spirit to tackle problems.
