How I overcame an obstacle

The  best  way  I  feel  to  overcome  any  obstacle  is  to  face  them  head  on  and  figure  out  how  to overcome  it  and  to  make  sure  that  they  don't  hinder  me  in  life.  One  way  is  not  to  entertain  any  kind of  negativity  or  negative  people.  People  will  say  a  100  different  things,  but  if  you  have  the  will power to  get  over the  problem, nothing  else matters.  Here  is one  such incident in my  life. I  became  very  sick  unexpectedly.  I  stopped  eating  and  of  course  lost  a  lot  of  weight  along  with mental  capacity.  You  could  say  I  lost  my  body  and  mind.  All  seemingly  for  unexplainable  reasons. People  gave  me  different  suggestions  ranging  from  superstitious  beliefs  to  genuine  medical advices.  Few  of  my  friends  left  me  in  my  bad  times.  But  I  kept  on  holding  true.  The  hopes  of  me getting  better  were  becoming  weaker  and  weaker.  Still  I  kept  faith  in  myself.  One  day,  somehow, some  way—  it  was  almost  like  the  second  hand  on  a  clock—something  seemed  to  click  into  place. It  took  quite  some  time,  but  slowly,  carefully  putting  one  foot  in  front  of  the  other,  things  changed. It  taught  me  that,  regardless  of  whatever  you  may  think,  if  you  live  long  enough,  your  luck  will eventually  change  from  bad  luck  to  good  luck.  Which  is  really  just  another  way  of  saying  you  will eventually  get it right.   Until  we die,  there  will  always  be  crises.  But  we  keep  on  getting  over  the  issues  in  our  path  forward in life.
