Ever since I was a child, My mom always used to tell that education can take us to places. It was somehow embedded in my brain that if I study really well, I can achieve things.
It went on to an extent that I had all my dreams woven around education. It started with excelling at 10th and 12th boards and then enjoying engineering. Everything was a cake walk until then. I later decided to do an Mba. So I took up a job to gain experience.
It was then I met my real challenges. Managing a job and mba entrance preparation was a big deal. I could not crack the entrance in 2016. Then started pressure from my families end to get married. They had infact made matrimonial column.
But I did not want to settle for that option. I tried convincing them to give me more time to study. There were times when things got very difficult at office and home and it was really important for me to do well in the entrance. I used to feel there was huge burden on my back, sometimes I would feel my shoulders would crumble under it’s weight. But then I made it pretty clear to myself that I would take this into my hand and tackle this situation, one ounce at a time.
I have come out clean, the storm has subsided. I somehow proved my dad that nothing else matters to me as much as MBA. He got convinced after I cracked GMAT and I am glad I have overcome that big challenge, it has made me more patient.
