"If there's no humanity left, What is the use of religion, And Gods, And leaders."

                                                                                                                                              -Aditya Birla

The day had finally come for the 5th grade result. She was clasping her hands, feeling very nervous, the way she always used to feel. Butterflies started moving around in her stomach. As they moved towards the school, these butterflies started jumping and soon they were doing a jazz dance inside her stomach. She reached the classroom, with her parents and finally the report card was handed over to her parents. Her parents were overjoyed to see her result and she was calm because the butterflies stopped dancing finally. A new year started in a new grade, fresh expectations in marks, fresh syllabus, fresh notebooks and fresh mind to learn.

This continued when she went to the 7th grade, 8th grade and so on until she reached the 12th grade. When she finally realised that repeating the same job of the butterflies jumping and henceforth calming down was monotonous. It was boring. It was pointless effort. What was she missing? Why wasn't she happy? Is the goal of life only to achieve good marks and pass? If yes, then why was it so dull, without any excitement? Why was everything black and white? Where were all the colors?

It was precisely at this time that she mystically joined an NGO. She started praying. She started realising humanity. She started filling out that emptiness and connecting to her inner self, post which she felt at peace with herself. She felt complete. She felt connected to her religion, her god. She felt connected to herself.  She overcame her challenge of feeling empty, something that was eating her up inside slowly, only to become happy, complete, joyous, victorious and emerge out as a compassionate leader.

In case you are still wondering, that she is me.
