How the Aditya Birla Group is adding values to lives_IMI New Delhi

Aditya Birla Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate, headquartered in Worli, Mumbai, India and it operates in 35 countries with more than 120,000 employees worldwide. ABG has touched millions of life and I take immense pleasure in stating that I am one of them. The impact which ABG has created in my life is not only in the recent years but it is from the start when my mother used to pack my lunch box in the Hindalco freshwrap aluminium foil. I have been staying in Delhi for a long time now and have been using the Idea Cellular network (now Vodafone-Idea Limited). Vodafone-Idea Limited has now become the biggest telecom service providers of India. I personally feel that this is the best network which works not only in Delhi NCR but in my hometown as well. When it comes to buying casual clothes, Pantaloons has become a one stop-solution for me and my friends. I remember the incident when I was in a need of buying kurta because there was some ethnic day in our company and I had to dress up in the same manner. I approached Pantaloons at the eleventh hour and finally managed to get a good kurta at an economical price.

During my childhood, I used to think that cement means Ultra tech cement only and this seems to be true now. In January, 2019 we planned to renovate our house and thought of building upper-storey of the house. When it came to the use of the cement, my father suggested to use nothing other than Ultra tech cement.

Challenges faced in life:-

It is often said that the race of life is not like a railway track which runs parallelly rather it is just like the flow of river which faces ups and downs while moving. The challenge I faced was the time when I changed my school (rural to urban) in 11th standard. I wondered if my name could also be in the Roll of Honour of the school board. I shared this thought with my father who assured that hard work could bring about miracles. I was able to realize my dream as I scored first position in the school and was felicitated by teachers, friends, family and even press brought out the news of my commendable success. My name was finally there in the Roll of Honour. I learnt that will to succeed and perseverance can take you to the heights of success.

Another challenging situation I faced in life was the time when my first semester exams (during the under graduation) were approaching, I fell sick and had to come back to my hometown because I was staying away from my home. I was admitted to the hospital and after checkup it was found that I had dengue fever. It took around two weeks to get discharged from the hospital. Even after getting discharged, my health was not allowing me to do anything but I had my semester exam. My family and the doctor advised me to skip the exam as I was not in a position to move Delhi in such bad health. However, I chose to go for the exam because this was the first exam of my graduation so I didn't want to skip and feel guilty for not giving the exam. Although, I got the lowest marks in the subject in the entire graduation but at the end I am happy that I had the courage to face the adversity.

At last, I would like to thank ABG for adding values to our daily lives.
