Life is full of challenges. There are ups and downs, but whatever happens, one should trust and believe in self. After all, challenges make us stronger than before. One of the biggest challenges I faced was during my entrepreneurial journey. This happened during my last year of graduation, wherein I wanted to turn my idea into reality. I wanted to solve a problem people faced and wanted to make an impact in their lives. I faced a number of challenges right from building a team, getting the finances for the start-up and creating a business plan. There were other social hindrances as well – several people suggested me not to go for it as I was too young to start my own venture.
I nevertheless had complete trust and faith in myself and went ahead with implementing the idea. I did a couple of market surveys about the potential use of the product and that motivated me further. I build an awesome team, developed the product from scratch and implemented the business idea for the product. The team and I worked diligently and left no stone unturned to pitch the product to end users. There was suddenly a lot of responsibility on my shoulders and I learned to manage my time.
Though the venture was not successful because of some reasons, I believe it is the journey that matters. The experience I gained, the exponential learning I inculcated was in multitude. Working in a team, showing the team members the path and keeping them motivated are some of the qualities I learned from this journey. I am a firm believer of the fact that failures are the pillars of success and a person with persistence and passion will always sail through any challenge in life.
Don’t limit your challenges. Challenge your limits.
