• Average stipend (top 10%) - Rs. 2,57,000
• Average stipend (top 20%) - Rs. 2,44,000, a 23% increase from last year.
• Average stipend (top 50%) - Rs. 1,70,000, a 28% increase from last year.
• Sales & Marketing continued to be the most sought-after domain, with 38% of the total offers made to the participants, followed by Banking and Finance (19%) and Consulting (14%).
• There was a 60% increase in the number of offers made in Operations and 125% increase in the highest stipend offered in Human Resources.
• A total of 54 recruiters participated in the Summer Placements process this year.
• Amazon, Deloitte USI, HDFC Bank, Pidilite and TATA Steel made the maximum number of offers this year.
• First-time recruiters included - AB InBev, Cipla, DE Shaw, Emami, GMM Pfaudler, Goldman Sachs, Henkel, Maruti, Pidilite, TATA Capital, TIW Private Equity, United Breweries and Xiaomi among others.
• Regular recruiters included Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, BPCL, Deloitte USI, Fidelity Investments, HSBC Bank, ICICI Bank, ITC, JSW Group, Nomura Investment Bank, TATA Motors, Tata Steel, Titan, ValueLabs and Yes Bank.

• Top brands recruiting from IIM Shillong this year included Goldman Sachs, HSBC, RBL, Yes Bank, TATA Capital amongst others.

• Consulting was one of the top 3 most sought after domains in the IIM Shillong Summer Placements process, with 14% of the total offers being made in this domain.
• Cognizant and Deloitte were notable recruiters for Consulting.
• Search engine giant Google hired students from IIM Shillong for Sales & Marketing roles.
