You are using Equality of outcome for something that needs to be seen with Equality of Opportunity. You have less representation of Females in jobs like drivers and rag pickers, there have been many researches on this subject in various countries; I suggest you to read some.

That's an absurd argument by elites to justify their elitist mentality. As far as I know all of those girls who get in b schools are from elite family and from metropolitans mostly. They haven't even seen what a guy from small town or village have to face let alone the girls from there. Finally you are from elite family and will get married in an elite family. Why complaint then?May be you are comparing your situation with guys from big cities. Start looking through the perspective of guys and girls from small village .Then you will see that it is nothing but ploy from b schools to just fill up seats in the name of diversity rather than giving it to deserving (economically+merit).

As Daniel Kahneman has defined perspective bias all the comments here are influenced by this. But ultimately we need to understand that as abhijeet bernerjee says in poor economics that it's all about resources. At least you have the resources and time to prepare .When more and more people in this country are not even able to get basic education then how can these people justify their diversity point.
