ABG group have been leading in various sectors be it Aluminum, clothing, telecom, insulator, Cement and many more. Most people don’t realize the brands we wear, products we use are mostly the brands of ABG. The products of ABG ranges across different segment of the society thus impacting each and every individual in every sphere of income. It is not just about the product a person use but also the employment each and every product from different brands create in India. ABG generates employment to nearly 120000 people in India. The ABG group have always been infront when it comes to initiatives for the rural sector of india. The initiative by Chairperson Mrs Rajashree Birla to contribute to social and economic development is well known and initiatives like this make ABG unique in the sphere where company thrives for profits were company like ABG is looking for sustainability to increase the human development index.
ABG have also impacted the lives of many women as the stats shows there has been a significant rise in the no of women employed at a managerial position thus giving exposure to women that was isolated to just men. I have been using products of ABG from household products to telecoms network and I am already impressed with the services provided by the company to customers despite hosting so many products and every time a buy a ABG group product it gives me a sense of contributing to the welfare of the society as some part of my money would be contributed towards various initiatives in the country by ABG.
In each and every one’s life there is a story of failure and difficulty that people face, There have been various problems and difficulties that I faced in my life but it seem to me that it is important for people to address the problems of the society and bring those topic to light , so I was ambitious about bringing those stories to light and giving people the platform to address the problem and stories they can convey so that other people may get help from that. As 1 year back I got connected to TEDx as in my opinion TEDx gives me a platform to bring people from various sectors and share their ideas so that people may benefit from it and help alleviate problems in the society. One such example was of Financial Literacy as people in india are not financially literate which makes it difficult for these people to be contribute to the GDP thus I tried to bring a person from the local community to impart knowledge about the same to illiterate. During my search about various ideas I came across the initiatives started by Aditya Birla Group which flatters me as to in how many ways company can contribute to the society.
