Hindalco Industries is an Aluminium and Copper manufacturing company having its headquarters based in Mumbai. Hindalco Renukut, Varanasi is one of its largest manufacturing unit in India also has a manufacturing unit in Hirakud, Sambalpur near the world-famous Hirakud Dam in Odisha. During my engineering career, we had several visits and interns at Hirakud FRP, Hindalco Industries Limited where we witnessed the manufacturing process of Aluminium from Bauxite ore, rolling mill function, Extrusion process, end-product handling, etc. Hindalco FRP products cater to numerous markets and provide for all industrial and commercial requirements like Automotive and transport, Building and construction, Defence, Electrical and electronics, Pharmaceutical and packaging, white goods, etc. Being a metallurgist it was of immense help to gain knowledge and know more about the functioning of an industry at a large scale, and Hindalco Industries helped me provide this opportunity. We held several industrial visits and conclaves where we invited the most esteemed members of the company and our guests addressed several minds and helped to gain confidence in the competitive world.
Aditya Birla group has a very major impact on my everyday life too. Starting from my apparel, garments, attire to my cell phone, it has completely transformed my life. India’s largest telecom operator Vodafone Idea Limited based in Mumbai has connected people all over the country operating at a high 3G or 4G speed. After merging of the two telecom giants Vodafone India and Idea Cellular, the combined entity has a distribution reach of 1.7 million retail outlets and 340,000 broadband network sites. I feel glad being associated with such a huge telecommunication partner across the globe. ABG has also influenced my fashion sense and helped me to choose the apparel worth good looking every time I went into Pantaloons Fashion. ABG has changed the lives of millions of farmers across the country by developing quality and productive chemical fertilizers. They have brought a charm and smile upon all the diligent and industrious working class of our country. It has, therefore, helped me achieve a proper and balanced diet which is the most essential thing in a person's life conclusively.
