Aditya Birla Group is one of the most established brands that every Indian feels connected as it carries a legacy of 162 years. ABG has one of the best brands in its basket and has continued to strive for excellence since it's inception. My association with ABG started when I was in the 8th Class and got my first mobile phone. I got an Idea sim card which was a major buzz back then with a special mention to it's wonderful advertisments that were customer centric in every aspect. I have a special message for the team "What an Idea Sirji". ABG had done a wonderful job in the telecom sector as Idea became a household name. The rural India constitutes of approximately 65 to 70 Percent of the population and Idea penetrated that market as well. As far as I was concerned due to the wonderful service I started recommending the brand to all my friends and relatives. I felt a special connect with that brand because for a 15 year old back then it brought me close to my friends and that's how it touched my life. Van Heusen and Peter England have made a mark as well with their excellent premium quality they have won hearts throughout. ABG has some of the best brands in its arm which touch lives throughout the world.

Coming onto my personal story, It all started in the year 2017 when my father told me now that I have graduated it's time to study for the MBA entrances as it was one of the most sought after things. I started studying for the sake of it and was more focused towards my job. I was juggling both the things but I took things lightly and ended up with below average percentiles in all the exams. This was the time when failure hit me hard as my friends got through NMIMS, KJ Somaiya and GIM. I felt really guilty and started studying again but this time with a fire in my eyes to reach the end goal of getting a B School admit. This time the entrances were tough and I missed some cutoffs by a mark's margin that was the reason that I got dejected and wasn't even going to write the exam that sailed me through that was CMAT. Thanks to my father he coaxed me to go and write the exam atleast I obeyed and managed to score a 99.20 percentile and got calls from XIMB, KJ Somaiya, Great Lakes and SIIB. To my surprise and disbelief was able to convert each one of them and finally joined GIM. The biggest takeaway is that you shouldn't quit because you have worked hard and the TIDE WILL TURN SOON. Magic does happen as I had never ever imagined after the entrances debacle that I would ever be able to study in a premier B school but Magic does happen when you work hard.
