With an unmatchable legacy to the ongoing success the name Aditya Birla Group exemplifies integrity, quality, performance, perfection and above all character. While historically Mr. Ghanshyam Birla became an important supporter during the independence movement led by Mahatma Gandhi by providing financial backing and engaging in talks with British, today Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla is leading the legacy and setting new benchmarks, Aditya Birla Group has been an irreplaceable part of our everyday lives. Started as a small cotton and jute trading business, Aditya Birla Group is one of the premium global conglomerates that is active in 14 industry sectors worldwide.
Having said this, Aditya Birla group has been a massive part of my daily life. Right from the school days where FRESHWRAPP aluminum foil kept my food fresh and healthy to my college days where FOREVER 21 became one stop solution to all my fashion emergencies. While ULTRATECH CEMENT has provided support to our dream home, BIRLA COPPER is making my train journey feasible.
On Father’s Day it is PETER ENGLAND to look for and PANTALOONS is the one stop destination for our Diwali shopping with a wide range of products for everyone.
Even today when I am starting my B-school journey ALLEN SOLLY and VAN HEUSEN made sure I feel comfortable in my formal attire and polo tees from RALPH LAUREN has it all for the casual college days. At last if I ever run out of cash because of my shopping spree I know that the ADITYA BIRLA IDEA PAYMENTS BANK LIMITED can easily process my cashless transactions.
Starting from a BIRLA CARBON micro-particle in my Tyre to make driving safe, the glass cover on my smartphone made from HINDALCO ALUMINIUM to making distance disappear and connection last longer through VODAFONE IDEA LIMITED the Aditya Birla Group touches my life daily.
However, it also makes me happy to be associated with a greater cause that Aditya Birla Group seeks to promote through its Corporate social responsibility initiative. It seems that with every purchase I make I contribute indirectly in serving thousands by providing them with healthcare, education, safe and hygienic living conditions and an opportunity to move towards a sustainable livelihood.
Every thrown aluminum can is recycled, the Earth polo by RALPH LAUREN is using 12 plastic waste bottles to come up with a brand-new shirt, and LIVAECO is being introduced that will use fabric sourced from forests. Aditya Birla Group live up to the values it holds of integrity, passion, commitment, seamlessness and speed in all respects and leads every step towards their mission of delivering superior values to the customers, shareholders, employees and society at large.
The logo correctly depicts the sun lightening my life and millions of other lives with a massive and never-ending source that only keep on rising!

Life and its challenges
“Failure is not fatal, failure is inevitable, if you don’t fail it perhaps mean you aren’t taking enough risk”
-Kumar Mangalam Birla
It is truly said difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. The journey however might be very long, and one might feel like giving up but once we reach its all worth the view.
One of the most challenging journeys of mine was my journey to become a Chartered Accountant. Back in 2013 when I decided to pursue CA, little did I know how much exciting and challenging it will be.
Time management is one of the best takeaways from the process. Managing a full time articleship along with college and studies was really challenging in all respects. With a revised curriculum in every 6 months after budget the academic rigor of the course is a well-accepted fact.
I still remember may of 2017 when I was due for my final exams. I was unfortunately diagnosed with multiple jaundice, due to which I couldn’t write the exams. At first it was disappointing as you put your 100% in something and then return empty handed for no fault particularly of yours. Overtime though I do realize that I haven’t lost anything, moreover with 6 months gap I got a chance to read about the newly introduced Goods and service tax law which was missing during my attempt. During the entire phase there were various instances where I wanted to quit. One of such instances was when I called my father and said I don’t want to be a CA and today when I look back I can’t thank him enough to put me through it. Finally, in November 2017, I appeared for my final exams, fully recovered and fit. Today when I see those two letters prefixed before my name everything seems so easy and worth every effort I had put in the process.
In life to achieve something or to follow your dreams and aspirations you often come across various challenges, but once we make our mind and set our heart to something I believe everything gets sorted and things start falling in right place.
“There's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an uphill battle
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose
Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb!”
-The climb by Miley Cyrus
