A home is considered as a paradise on the earth as it could be a destination after a hectic day. Leaving behind a rented place and building a house of one’s own, a place where families make their most cherishable memories, is a dream for any middle-class family. This dream was what my father achieved by saving up every single penny by building a great place for his family to live in. After hiring a contractor, the first things he demanded were bricks and cement. Aditya Birla group’s Ultratech Cement Ltd. was our go-to place. It provided quality and economical cement in the required quantity every time we demanded which made the whole process a lot smoother and took us a lot closer to our dream of owning our own house.
The most sought after thing while constructing our house was how big the wardrobe was going to be. Considering my mother and sister who are crazy shopaholics, who do not wear the same outfit again in the same week, we fixed upon an enormous wardrobe. They need new clothes every season and hence if at Sundays we are not at home, we would be at Allen Solly, looking at the wide variety of products they offer.
Leaving my home, the place I am the fondest of, the place which made me who I am today, was one of the most difficult things I had to do. But it had to be done as I had to take the next course of my life, to join Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), Pune for the MBA program. The institute gave a uniform list which said, “Formals compulsory”. Without giving a second thought, I rushed to Pantaloons. It hosts brands such as Louis Philippe, Peter England, and Van Heusen and has a solution to every problem regarding outfits. I came home with a lot of bags and confidence to face the new world I was going to step into.
Aditya Birla group’s products have been a part of my life’s journey throughout and helped me in different stages of life and nothing else can come close to it. It helped in building an amazing place in which I grew. It is true that outfit brings out a completely different personality in a person and gives confidence to them. So, it feels right to say that Aditya Birla’s fashion and retail has played a major role in making me more confident and standing tall with my peers.
Aditya Birla Group has not only had an impact in my life but also the lives of 46,500 school children of the 56 schools in which they operate. It also runs 5000 medical camps and 20 hospitals, immunized 70 million children against polio, provide midday meals every day for 63000 children in 268 schools and trying to make a difference all over India.
