Aditya Birla Group is one of the largest business groups in India and has been continuously impacting the lives of people making them all the way better in some form or another. Now when I look back after knowing about the group and its impact on my life, I remember the best was during my school days.

Remember the days, getting up early every morning, getting ready and going to school, well, those were undoubtedly the best days of our lives. And what completed this was the tiffin or the dabba that our mothers gave us every day, freshly cooked food, put in that dabba and the only thing everyone waited for was the lunch time, to open their dabba’s and savour the food. But what completed the dabba and preserved the food was the foil in which the chapati’s were wrapped. The freshwrapp silver foil, mot commonly used foil for food packaging, came from Hindalco, a flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group.

Not only did the foil preserved the food, but I guess it also preserved the feeling of love and care with which our mothers provided us the food. And they chose the best by choosing freshwrapp. And after the purpose of preserving food was served, the foil was also used for another purpose. We used to carefully place all the foils and roll them into a ball which was then used for playing cricket, and other games. I believe that it had a great impact on my life as it not only helped me create a lot of good memories, but also helped in preserving them for a lifetime.

Thank you Aditya Birla Group for Freshwrapp.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was my fear of stage. I was one of those students who feared the centre stage, but after a point I realised that I was missing out on a lot of things, like quizzes, debates, drama, etc. That’s when I decided that I need to overcome this fear, maybe slowly but surely. I started working in this direction, talking to mire people, collaborating with others, taking help of my teachers, and slowly started taking part in school competitions. Although the start was not good and I failed in my initial attempts but the work was still in progress.

After some time, the initial fear was lost and the hard work started to payoff. Being on the stage felt good and the best feeling was being part of the annual school fest anchor team. When I stepped into MBA, I felt it was the right decision I made at that time because had I not take that decision and not worked upon it, I don’t know if I would have survived here.

Now I feel really comfortable out there, speaking my mind, expressing my thoughts. Being in an MBA course, it gives you a lot of opportunities to be a part of various presentation groups and express your thoughts and discussion forums. I feel happy today that I am enjoying all these and learning more from them. But the work is still in progress and it will, I guess, remain for a long time.
