This world is run by people who are driven to make an impact. The hunger of doing something for the world and yourself is what gives rise to beautiful ventures and synergies. The Aditya Birla Group is a conglomerate that is Indian in their values and global in outlook. Whether you’re a fresher, a middle manager, someone who wants to work on a global role, ABG has things to offer to you that are significant to you at various life stages. ABGLP is their leadership program which focuses on developing world leaders and influencers which don’t fall short while facing any obstacle thrown at them. I myself belonging to a lower middle class family in a high spending state such as Delhi, have overcome many challenges to get where I am now. I am an engineer and now I am studying in one of the top business school of the country and it has been a challenging ride all along. I am basically from Kashmir and my parents had to migrate to Delhi. Due to the mass migration, we were not financially very well off. My parents barely made ends meet. I did my schooling from Delhi only. I took part in scholarship events to try to help my family a bit. Then things were good for a while, I joined an Engineering college. So, in my pre-final year of college, I had to do a compulsory summer internship. I chose the field of Search engine optimization (SEO) which comes under digital marketing. I joined a well-established start-up. When I joined I had a team lead to introduce me to SEO. After a few days the team lead left the job and the owner of the company decided that I should shoulder the responsibility of projects worth lakhs of Rupees. He wanted immediate results and a message was conveyed to me that I won’t be given an internship certificate if I don’t deliver results. And not getting an internship certificate meant not completing my compulsory summer internship and I would have had to repeat a year in my college. This might not seem to be a big problem if seen from the outside world but as a zero work experience person who had his degree at stake, the world came down for me. Then I decided to gear up for this. I learnt SEO on my own. I had three people working under me, I taught them also. I distributed the work amongst us, motivated the interns with me to give their best effort. After a couple of weeks, we achieved better results than before and the effort of the whole team was appreciated. The skill I developed in these two weeks helped me make valuable projects for almost a year. I obviously got my Internship certificate and then my college degree. With the right frame of mind in my final year, I prepared for M.B.A exams and I passed out from engineering on May 31st,  2019, and joined the Masters on 3rd June,2019. Now I am all geared up to give my best in college and enter the corporate world fully prepared. Life goes on.
