As a finance management student, we are expected to invest in and know in depth about the stock market. I remember my first finance management teacher taught me that only invest in industry and company whose products you use and you trust in. The first company whose shares I bought was Aditya Birla Group. The conglomerate is the epitome of growth and development the economy is facing. From the first moment a person is born to the last breath he/she takes, ABG is always there in one form to another. The impact it leaves on us is like a mother, even though it doesn’t get noticed enough, our lives will be incomplete without it.  Textiles, telecommunications, infrastructure, fashion apparels, Retail every aspect of our lives Aditya Birla group impacts us. We go for fashion shopping in pantaloons, Van Huesen etc we find them there, we buy our houses in the very foundation Aditya birla Ultra tech cement is there. I remember from the first salary that I had, I went to Pantaloons showroom and bought a very pretty yellow kurta from there. I am in awe of the variety of industries and products the company Is in, it is simply mind boggling.  What is amazing is that the company is not only doing business but doesn’t shy away from its corporate responsibilities. The foundations and the initiative the company takes to improve the lives of others is simply amazing.  The company is surely the best houses the country has produced

The reason I have so much trust in the company is how it has overcome certain challenges to become what it is now. Every individual in their lives faces certain hurdles and problems, but to overcome it, it takes great amount of courage and determination. I was once pursuing a different career in life but after certain problems I could not continue doing it. I had to then make a decision whether this is the path I want to continue or go on a different path and maybe find happiness in it. I was sure that the current situation I  am in will not fetch me happiness in the future but due to societal pressures I had chosen it and the fear of society kept me on it. I then decided that my happiness is my responsibility and none others. It was then that I choose a different career path and have been walking on it since then  I haven’t been more happy and satisfied. I can with surety tell anyone that where I am today is my own doing and nobody is the one to blame for any dissatisfaction or contentment from my successes.  I am where I had envisioned myself to be when I was a little girl and hopefully my future en devours will take my places I wish to be.  Aditya Birla is one of those who just like me doesn’t blame the situation or the incidences in the environment to cover for its own shortcomings and that is one thing I as an individual admire the most.
