Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my Life

When it comes to shopping or buying anything new, middle-class families have always faced this dilemma; Should I just settle for the item with decent quality to just live by or Should I go for a little premium one which can stretch pocket a little bit! And that dilemma stands out when any festival is around the corner and you are desperately looking for some new addition in your wardrobe.

I have seen my Dadaji going through this and so my Papa. But Dadaji has always been very particular about one thing; what to wear and where to get things from! So, during Eid, in spite of my Papa’s restraints, he had always taken us to this Multi-branding outlet called “Pantaloons’. You look at Dadaji’s face and you get to know how happy he is peeking through one corner of the shop to the other. He never minded stretching his pocket at Pantaloons every year because for him it was visiting Mela with the whole family. For him, it is the smell of the new clothes, happy faces of old staffs of the shop or maybe it was every year’s surprise awaiting him in the Pantaloons.

It has been 6 years he has left us, but one thing has not changed. Even today, the whole family visits Pantaloons for shopping during Eid. We could never go anywhere else because for us it is like going to Mela with Dadaji, it is like a reunion with Dadaji’s emotion. Somewhere Pantaloons has made the whole family realize the importance of family. Thanks, Pantaloons. Thanks, Aditya Birla Group.

How Have I Made An Impact

Absence of something makes us feel the importance of it more. And if it is the nearest one to your heart, it hurts more. When you hail from a lower-middle class family, you grow up seeing a lot of hardships in your family. And for me, that hardship intensified manifold when I suddenly lost my father in a tragic accident. I was in the second year of my engineering and for a moment it became impossible to complete my engineering. I had to take a lot of responsibilities which I never thought of before. It brought a sense of practicality in me which made me realize the effort my father put into for us throughout his life. I realized that nothing would ever come easily; you would have to earn it. So, I just could not give up in between. Because it was not only my dream, it was also my father’s.

I grew up watching tennis with him. He was a big fan of Roger Federer and quite naturally he became my favorite player too. Every time we sat in front of the TV watching him play, I have always been fascinated by Federer’s immense passion for the game. His persistence has left me in awe every time. His ‘never give up’ attitude has inspired me. His fighting mentality even when he is losing gave me the motivation to move forward in pursuing my dream. He kept on going even when the rest of the world doubted on his abilities and he thrived in the end. That kept me going because even I believed in myself as he does. That’s what my father taught me every day of my life.
