PART-A
The Aditya Birla group is a highly diversified conglomerate of different brands. It has presence in over 14 different industry sectors. The most impactful products of the Aditya Birla group in my life has been of the clothing brands that they offer. The various clothing brands that the company owns are Allen Solly, Forever 21, Louis Philipe, Pantaloons, Peter England, Planet Fashion, Ralph Lauren and Van Heusen.
These brands have been a part of my life since the age of 18, that’s because it was then that I decided to take control of what I should wear. These brands have been associated with me during different phases of my life. When I joined under-graduate college I used to buy my casuals from Pantaloons. It was specifically this brand because they hosted a lot of various branded clothes and apparels. With a variety of options to choose from without visiting multiple stores, Pantaloons helped me shop with a better experience. The brand even provided me with loyalty card that offered a lot of prizes for regular prices.
As I reached towards the last phase of my under-graduate college I needed new styles of clothes, “FORMALS”. Allen Solly, Louis Philipe, Van Heusen and Peter England helped me by providing with the right kind of outfits for me. May it be suits, trousers or shirts. These brands had my back.
After I had finished with my MBA entrance exams, the group discussion and personal interviews rounds came. For this particular round I needed a pair of black formal shoes and a formal tie. I wanted something that could boost my confidence and that would reflect strong on me. Louis Philipe and Allen Solly came to rescue by providing me with the perfect shoes and a beautiful tie.
PART-B
Life seemed to be going smoothly until the 1st year of undergraduate college. After the 1st year of engineering college I started to lose interest in the course and my grades started falling down. Towards the ending of the college I had decided to change my domain and shift towards the management side of carrier. For this particular purpose I joined a manufacturing organisation and started working as a production supervisor. The journey was full of tight schedule work. The workload was heavy and demanded a lot of work hours of the week. It was a painful process but the learning was immense.
After working for 13 months I decided to do an MBA course. For this I had to prepare and go back to being a student. The transformation was a little difficult because I had to recalibrate my life routine and processes.
