The Aditya Birla Group is one of the most premier business conglomerates in the world. It is one of those names that instill inspiration in the hearts of a billion people in India and many more outside. One of the reasons is that they have started as a Jute manufacturing company in 1919 and transformed into a $44billion multi-product corporation present in various sectors. Aditya Birla Group made every aspiring young Indian believe that he/she can make it big too by believing in themselves. Aditya Birla Group has also been an integral part of my life, being there with me at every moment of my life. My introduction to Aditya Birla Group was through apparel -Peter England, Louis Phillipe, Allen Solly, VanHeusen, Pantaloons, etc. and since then I became an ardent admirer of Aditya Birla Group and always associated the brand with highest of quality and comfort. I still remember the first time a More outlet has opened in my neighborhood because of all the time and effort that it saved all of us from going around shops to buy goods from different categories. More was a one-stop solution for all your groceries and household needs. Aditya Birla Group also takes up a lot of CSR activities to help the underprivileged sections of the society, they operate in around 5000 villages helping more than 7.5 million people with medical and educational services and this clearly shows the way Aditya Birla Group operates. So this is how Aditya Birla Group has been an integral part of various walks of my life through innovation and inspiration.

“As with the butterfly, adversity is necessary to build the character”

                                                                           -Joseph B. Wirthlin

Some of the challenges that I overcame to achieve my ambitions were during the formative years of my life in childhood (6-8th class) as it was the first time I left home to join an International boarding school in Chennai. I come from a small town and it was really hard to adjust to the environment there because the language was a huge barrier for me back then as I couldn't speak much English, Hindi, etc. But all my friends and classmates were from big cities with a business background. There were many times during my stay when I wished to go back home because of all the difficulties I was facing. But I knew that there was a purpose for me being there, that is to grow and develop holistically as an individual. So I realized that I have to work harder than my peers to catch up and grow further. Although the change was not immediate, I gradually learned to adapt and handle such difficult situations in life with patience and unwavering determination. So those first few years in the school made me adaptable and emotionally strong from inside and helped me become more empathetic in life drawing inspiration from the metamorphosis of moth to butterfly. All along this process I also to appreciate different languages and culture and the value they impart to the society.
