Millions of years ago, in fact from starting days of Human evolution, there are three basic requirements for survival.
Roti, Kapda Aur Makan...!!
Every other necessity lies within these three requirements.

'Seth Shiv Narayan Birla'- the founding father of Aditya Birla Group understood the gravity around these three mystical requirements and incorporated an enterprise which is capable enough to address these three issues on a massive scale. Looking at the diverse portfolio of Aditya Birla Group, one can find the immense pleasure of knowing that even after 162 years of inception, the commitment towards society and their problems is still intact and getting amplified by every passing day.

Aditya Birla Group, an Indian enterprise and also torchbearer of 'Make in India' dream provides almost everything regular Indian needs for the day to day chores. Just like everyone else's, ABG has been an integral part of my whole life. Starting from groceries bought in 'More Retail store' to IDEA network that helps me stay connected with my family back home to 'Pantaloons' or 'PETER ENGLAND' where I shopped before joining XIMB, ABG has shaped my life in bits & pieces. Not to forget, Ultratech is the cement used in the construction of the hostel I am residing in presently.

Just like any other fellow shoppers of my age group, it is Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL) that I can closely connect with. Be it at 'PETER ENGLAND', the multiple brand option at Pantaloon or the premium business attire at 'VanHeusen' or 'LOUIS PHILIPPE' or the people friendly online shopping portal 'ABOF', they did always boost my confidence and never failed to bring the best out of me whenever required. Apart from fashion, I am also a big-time user of Aditya Birla Idea Payments Bank Limited (ABPB), a full-service digital bank which gives the advantage of keeping the mobile number as a bank account and also a one-click solution for all financial transactions. In short, there is not a single day that goes by without realizing the benefits of ABG.

Life is all about living in the present. Sounds easier & cooler. Right ...?

Here is the reality check. Life throws challenges every day to test the patience, audacity and competency. 'Living a day at a time' is easier said than done. I have tried to live on a similar mantra. I did never worry too much about past actions or future repercussions.

Even after following the wisest way, life was not a cakewalk for me. Although I have confronted multiple challenges so far, none was a blocker. Few of those are my favourite because of the nature of complexity and learning.

An incident from September 2017 is still fresh on my mind. Project Code was all set and ready to be deployed for user experience. Code suddenly broke after running smoothly for a couple of hours. It was a havoc situation for RBS (Client) due to the competitive pressure of the UK financial market. Every last person of the team was looking rigorously but finding fault in a thousand lines of code was like finding a needle in a haystack. The goal was to find the fault anyhow and fix it as soon as possible. I still respect the audacity of 23-year old me with minimal work experience who took charge of the Assurance team and did execute thousands of test scripts overnight.

What did we miss? A small PDF link update and it tested the patience of the whole team. A piece of information doesn't matter how big or small it is, deserves equal analysis and treatment.

The Gold award which I received after that is just a piece of paper. The relaxation in the voice of my manager after hearing the good news was one of the best appreciation anyone could have expected.

I believe, a challenge confronted constructively is an immense source of learning and also increases the analytical ability.
