India has come a long way since Independence. It had to uplift itself in various sectors of business, one of which is telecommunications for the services sector. One of the companies which has gone about making a big change was Aditya Birla Minacs. It has catered to the business process operations for several Fortune 500 companies and provided employment to tens of thousands of people not just in India, but abroad. Speaking of employment and working, I have done my engineering in electronics and telecommunications and always dreamed of working in the domain of telecommunication. My ambition to achieve was not without any challenges, but more on it in the other article!
The company which fulfilled this dream is none other than Aditya Birla Minacs itself. Although Minacs now belongs to Concentrix, but at that time back in 2014, it was still ABG still had Minacs. The place taught me a lot of things ranging from adapting to different shifts, taking the responsibility of handling critical telecom shifts all by myself, co-ordinating with various other technical teams. The company helped me hone my skills and gave me confidence to keep pushing my limits. During this time, another company of ABG made a big difference into changing the way I present myself to the corporate world - Peter England. The quality and smoothness of the formal dress made my presence suave while at work. I still use Peter England till date as I did not find the same level of aura exuding from any other product.
