Aditya Birla Group has made a big impact on my life. I remember the day when we bought our apartment and started the construction work, the brand that we could rely on was Ultra Tech Cement because of its brand equity. To meet my fashion needs I started wearing clothes of brands like Louis Phillipe, Peter England, Allen Solly and Van Heusen. I started feeling more confident and my fashion statement reached heights. Statements like “An idea that can change your life” and “What an Idea Sir Ji” motivated me to use Idea network (now Vodafone- Idea Network) and connect with people from all spheres of life. I am very enthusiastic when it comes to my smartphone and Aditya Birla Group has its
presence there also as Hindaco Aluminium is used to make cover glass of smartphones. I often use Railways as a means of transport, a large sphere of copper requirement of Indian Railways is fulfilled by Birla Copper. Aditya Birla Group has
catered to my different needs and it will continue enriching my life. It is impossible to imagine a life without the presence of Aditya Birla Group.
Life is dull if there are no challenges in it. I too had my share of challenges. I graduated in 2017 and started preparing for competitive examinations. During the process of preparation and appearing in different competitive examinations, my health took a toll and I was diagnosed with intestinal tuberculosis.
At first, I was not able to digest the fact that I was no longer a healthy person. I could not be involved in a full time course or job so I started helping my father in our family business. And as my health started improving gradually, I continued my preparation for competitive examinations and I was able to sail through Staff Selection Commission’s Combined Graduate Level Examination and Common Aptitude Test, 2018. At that time I was still on medication. I appeared for interviews for different b-schools and I was fortunate that I got admission in International Management Institute, New Delhi.
This phase of my life has taught me certain important things like if we have the determination to achieve something and we are ready to work hard then whatever challenges we face , they can’t stop us from achieving our goals. Now I look forward to being associated with a conglomerate like Aditya Birla Group so that I can play my part in making things easier for people by providing them with all the resources that they need to prosper.
“Failure is not fatal. Failure is inevitable. If you don’t fail, it means you aren’t taking enough risks.” These words of Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla inspires me to work harder and focus on the learning that I get from doing an activity rather than the success or failure.
