From a humble beginning at a small village in Rajasthan to becoming a fortune 500 conglomerate, Aditya Birla’s story is inspiring and motivating. A $44 billion conglomerate, Aditya Birla Group is transforming Indian market through its subsidiaries. The marketing campaign of Aditya Birla subsidiaries is something which I can connect to & inspires me to be best version of yourself.
Ultra Tech Cement (Slogan: The Engineer’s Choice): Whether it was the new washroom of our house, the first floor balcony renovation or the construction of my college’s new building, it has always been that yellow cement bag of Ultra Tech. Always The Engineer’s Choice because of the adhesive quality that they provide at such convenient prices.
Birla Sun Life Insurance (Tagline: “Your Dreams, Our Commitment”): I believe in humanity & I believe in power of business as well. Delivering both of them with sustainability is what changes our society. Helping needy when their supporting ones are gone is something I always wanted to do but couldn’t because of my limitations.
Vodafone Idea (Marketing campaign: #StrongerEveryHour): Getting Stronger, Better & Faster with every opportunity is the motto of my life. This should be the perspective toward life as well, Never Back Down. Help yourself, Help others. Moreover, the data carry forward feature of Vodafone Idea has abled us to do more with what we have.
Van Heusen (Marketing campaign: Carry your world): Making a dent in the universe is what I have always dreamt of. Hence I always carry my attitude, my persona, my energy, my curiosity & my dreams in all the endeavours of my life. I Carry my World with me.
Peter England (Marketing Campaign: Be Everything you love): I have always felt that anything which I come in contact with (could be a person, product or philosophy) & falls in love with it, a part of that gets imbibes into my nature. I live what I love. Like the Vodafone Idea Data features taught me to be good at resource management & I believe that I always do consider about it whenever I do any project.
How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far.
Persistence & resilience are the two attributes of my nature which helps me moving forward in period of stagnancy & failures. If I have set a goal for myself, then I don’t, or I would say, I can’t, opt out of it just because of failing at it, even if multiple times. I acknowledge my limitations & then work on it. I learn & then achieve my goal. If you’d be honest in your efforts & stay humble, then definitely there will always be a way.
I once read a quote by Steve Jobs: “Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish”. This is mantra for life. Being an inquisitive person, I usually never shy away from learning about my interests.
Let’s be honest, I have never worked hard in my life until for CAT 2018. I started preparing for it in May 2018. I was decent in QA & DILR but really bad in VARC. I used to be in a situation where I was not able to comprehend a five sentence paragraph in one go. Hence my preparation strategy was majorly focused towards VARC. Since VARC has a slow learning curve, one does not make visible changes in their language competencies even after 2 months of consistent practice. Then comes instances where you lose hope because of paucity of time. Hence, a rightly cooked recipe of yoga for energetic body, meditation for clarity of thoughts, persistence for getting up again from failed MOCK tests & a belief (wherever you invest your time that thing will definitely blossom) helped me achieve 99.90% of my set target goal.
