Things change and change is a mandatory phenomenon in everybody’s life. Clutters and chit-chats about the professional world begin at the very moment you step your foot in the engineering college. The same thing happened to me. Initially, in BITS Pilani Goa, I was clueless on the internships and campus placements. Slowly and steadily, through my hard work and efforts, I was able to get my internship opportunity in Aditya Birla Chemicals Thailand Sulphite Division. The excitement was doubled as it was the first corporate experience and coupled with international exposure in core chemical expertise.

Internship from ABG Thailand had impacted my life in multi-dimensions. It provided me with intense and solid exposure to the chemical manufacturing facility and with a profound platform to witness and apply my theoretical knowledge into real-time production activities. In ABC Thailand, I was involved in various cross-departmental projects and activities. In continuation, it would be very right to say that it became my brownie point or distinction factor of my resume’. My learnings from it helped me a lot to grab my first job offer at Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited. Description of my experience would be incomplete without mentorship and support from senior leadership. Although I was an internee, yet I was involved in every meeting about Capex and process development. My opinion was equally considered in deciding the future course of manufacturing a new product in the existing plant.

During my engineering, I was gifted with another opportunity to get associated with Ultratech Cements, Neemuch in the course named ‘process design project’ for cement plants. The whole engagement thought me the difficulties of the start-up and shut-down procedures of the stable continuous process.  As said, education is the most valuable asset of one life, my under-graduation was completed in BITS Pilani Goa. In the real sense, it was BITS Goa, which unlocked the key to the chest of magic. God gave me these big three engagements with ABG group.

ABG group gave the solid foundation of technical prowess in my life and character. According to me, a leader when coupled with brilliant technical knowhow can change the course of the world. In my pursuit of leadership, I am backed with ABG and currently, my skills are being honed at T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal.
