NITIE Mumbai has successfully completed the summer placements process for its PGDIM and PGDISEM class of 2022. A total of 124 companies participated in the summer placements process at NITIE, including top brands like McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, HUL, P&G, Nestle, Google, Amazon, General Electric, and Asian Paints amongst others. More than three quarters of the batch received a six-figure stipend, and nearly half the batch received over 2 lakhs as stipend for the entire duration of the internship. Key Salary Highlights From NITIE's Summer Placement Process | PGDIM & PGDISEM Class of 2022
- The highest stipend offered (for two months) to the PGDIM batch stood at INR 3.20 lakhs, while the highest stipend offered (for two months) to the PGDISEM batch stood at INR 2.60 lakhs.
- The average stipend offered (for two months) to the PGDIM batch stood at INR 1.77 lakhs, while the average stipend offered (for two months) to the PGDISEM batch stood at INR 1.31 lakhs. The median stipend offered (for two months) to the PGDIM batch stood at INR 1.80 lakhs.
- The average of the top 20% of stipends offered (for two months) to the PGDIM batch stood at INR 2.91 lakhs, while the average of the top 20% of stipends offered (for two months) to the PGDISEM batch stood at INR 2.57 lakhs.
- The average stipend (for 2 months) offered by the Tech & IT and Retail & E-Commerce sectors rose significantly by 21.13% and 10% respectively.
- Over 76.4% of the batch received 6-digit stipends for the entire duration & 47.2% received over INR 2,00,000 stipend for the entire duration.

- Overall, a total of 124 companies participated in the summer placement process for the batch of 2022. A total of 273 students participated in the summer placement process.
- This year, Strategy & Consulting roles were offered by the likes of Bain & Co., Deloitte USI, McKinsey & Co., PwC US Advisory etc.
- Leading FMCG companies like Colgate Palmolive, Dabur, Diageo, Godrej Consumer Products, HUL, ITC, J&J, Mondelez, Nestlé, P&G, Reckitt etc. recruited from the NITIE campus.
- First-time recruiters included Baker Hughes, BigBasket, Bluestone, Capital Foods, Compass Group, Everest Industries, GamaSec, Glanbia, Godrej Agrovet, Grofers, IDFC FIRST Bank, McKinsey & Co., Micron, Modern Foods, Purplle, Tata AIG General Insurance, Tiger Analytics, Wellness Forever, Wonder Cements and many more.
