ONE STEP AT A TIME
From the very childhood I was obsessed with automobiles especially cars and the only one’s which I could see those days were a Maruthi 800 or an HM Ambassador. Which were considered one of the best Indian car produced those days, so I was always fascinated that how did the Ambassador car land up in India and become so popular so as to the level were u could see it everywhere in India, the car is still used as a yellow taxi in Kolkata.
Hindustan Motors was the producer of the Ambassador motorcar, which was once a mainstream car in India, based on 1956 Morris Oxford Series and was in production from 1957 until 2014. Production of the Ambassador ceased on 24 May 2014.
Hindustan Motors is an Indian automotive manufacturer based in Kolkata , West Bengal, India. It was founded in 1942 by Mr. B.M. Birla, It is a part of theBirla Technical Servicesindustrial group. The company was the largest car manufacturer in India before the rise of Maruti Udyog,it was a leader in car sales until the 1980s
Have u ever experienced a near death experience, I had it once when I was around six years of age, A day which would change me and make me learn. It was a holiday which made my brothers decide to go for swimming and took me along and still remember every bit of the situation. As I was watching from the side of the swimming pool suddenly a friend of my brother took me inside the pool and was trying to teach me how to swim. So as we spent about ten minutes in the shallow as my confidence grew staying up in the water, I and the friend decided to take a round near to the deeper section of pool and thought to return back to the shallows. As the friend started taking me to the deeper part of the pool I started following him and started catching his shoulders, we were almost close near the deeper section when I lost the catch of his shoulder and started drowning. The friend tried catching me but he too started losing his ground but with his little known knowledge of swimming made him float in the water, but I couldn’t instead I was drowning and thought that this was the last day of my life. The next thing I could remember was I going to hospital in an ambulance
The whole episode made me so fearful of water that I would never even go near to swimming pool which was next to garden were I usually played every day for the next year. But as years passed all my friends and family used to go swimming were everybody enjoyed but I would sit in a distance and watch them. As the time passed I was in my twenties and see all my friends go swimming, but one day I decided that I would enter a swimming pool and I did it. Now I go swimming and in fact love swimming and find every opportunity to go for swim. How I could I do this, I feel its just the moment were u take a leap of faith and put u right leg ahead and the process follows. This episode in my life has thought me that anything u want in life is just taking the step ahead in life.
