Just like the group a person should have an aim to do big in his life. Challenges are the stepping stone to ambition.
Everybody faces problems while dealing with various issues throughout their lives. I faced one such situation at the most important time of my life. I like to dance. I started learning dance in 2018. We were a group of 200 passionate dancers with a dance class. Our studio decided to launch its dance show. We practiced day in and day out for the same. It was going to be my first dance performance. The show was going to happen in the month of October. In the month of August, I had an accident and was advised to undergo an ACL surgery on my left knee. Due to the surgery, I was advised bed rest for a period of 25 days. I was shattered. This meant that I had to miss the dance practices. And also, I was not allowed to dance. I was adamant about recovering soon. With excessive physiotherapy sessions and medication, I was able to recover within a month. The doctors considered it the fastest recovery of any ACL patient.
I was not allowed to participate in the dance show as I missed the practice sessions. But I returned to dancing after 2 months. I had a hard time trying to get back to the same. But with extensive training and help, I was able to get the grip of the same. I participated in various other dance competitions after that and won a few of them. This challenge has helped me to understand the importance of hard work and commitment. I didn’t participate in the dance show but I got to learn a lifelong lesson.
