Van Heusen, is one of my favourite brands. The company’s brand portfolio includes product lines that range from affordable and mass-market to luxurious, high-end style and cater to every age group. Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. (ABFRL) emerged after the consolidation of the branded apparel businesses of Aditya Birla Group comprising ABNL's Madura Fashion division and ABNL's subsidiaries Pantaloons Fashion and Retail (PFRL) and Madura Fashion & Lifestyle (MFL) in May 2015. Post the consolidation, PFRL was renamed Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd
Be it in college or at work, I stay committed to this brand. It comes in the surroundings on each visit to a mall. Even the online products appeal to me. It is associated with stylish, affordable and high-quality clothes.
ABFRL has been founded on the belief that the first sign of success of a modern nation lies in the ability of its citizens to celebrate. India's young working population and robust economic performance has led to rising incomes which, combined with increasing global exposure, are empowering many latent wants to morph into demands. With retail expanding independently through brick and mortar as well as e-commerce, the Indian fashion consumer now deserves futuristic and comprehensive omni-channel options. The time for ABFRL to arrive was ripe.
Aditya Birla Group has always been a part of our lives due to its business in so many segments.
PART-B
I believe education is the key to success.
Hence I didn’t stop pursuing studies even after completing Master of Science in Finance. Education plays a big role in broadening perspective and widening ones horizon.
I specialized in Finance during Graduation and pursued MSc in Finance thereafter.
However I realized that I would not wish to build my career in Finance and decided to switch to Human Resource domain. A two year stint in a management consulting firm made me believe that I am fit for Human Resources function.
However, this meant pursuing another degree to make that switch. This further mean burning midnight oil to prepare for the toughest exam, CAT.
I took the most difficult decision of my life and left my job for preparation purposes. I was in a stage that if I was unable to perform well, I would be in a situation no job and a degree I didn’t want. This was a risk which I willingly pursued.
My efforts paid off and I landed in a college of my dreams.
Education plays a significant role to design your future as a successful person in life and as a useful citizen in the society. I believe no one can neglect the importance of it. Education reduces the challenges of life that one might face.
When you have more knowledge and degree, there will be more opportunities for you to accelerate your professional and personal growth in life. Education is becoming very important for career building in this era. A person who acquires higher education will have more skills, capable of doing multiple tasks as well as meet the job requirement. Such a person is also aware how to balance personal and professional life.
