Part B – HOW DID I OVERCXOME MY CHALLENGE I FACED SO FAR
SCMHRD PUNE
Living a peaceful life is itself an ambition of many today. To mark your impact in the market, you will have to run at a pace that certainly helps you to finish first. As it is said, people don't remember who comes second. But I have always had a different thought to it. I never took part in a race wherein I stand at any place. I raced against me, against my growth, against my weakness and against everything that came to me as a hurdle. I have always aimed to live a life full of joy and peace, competing with myself and none other. And hence I might be pretty slow as compared to others but I'm here where I wanted to be. Doing an MBA was not something that came to me way before. It came to me a few years back, but to come here I took me a few more years. Completing my higher secondary education, I did not know which path to go and which destination to choose. Going through my graduation, I did follow a series of interests like social engagement, taking up a teaching profession and the challenge that I came across, being a part of my family business. Coming from a middle-class family, pursuing a certain dream might sound a bit difficult but certainly not impossible. While pursuing my graduation and finding the lack of my interest in the family business, I made up my mind about pursuing a career in management and build a life on my own terms. However, it wasn't easy as it was read. It took me 3 years to show my family, the potential I had inside me to make up my career by myself. I had certain obstacles to kick start my career who were reluctant about letting me go and prosper into a new world. I appeared for three consecutive years across various entrance examinations and also successfully passesd the further rounds that brought to me an admission-offer of premier business school in the country. However, I was always pulled back with a no and asked to be a part of something that I never wanted to be, my family business. But I decided not to give up and make an extra effort each time to make that no a yes. And hence, in that process, I was fortunate enough to get admission into SCMHRD, one of the premier management institute of the country. My effort to reach to an extra mile brought me a step closer to my dream of being a part of a world that would be certainly of my choice and efforts. Being passionate about writing, I make sure that I pour down my real-life chapters into emotions that could touch others. And hence, I was fortunate enough to turn that no into a happy yes.
