Aditya Birla Group is one of the largest business groups in India and has been continuously impacting the lives of millions in some way or the other. There has been a radical shift from ‘Being Big’ to creating and delivering ‘Big Value’ for its consumers and people at large across the world. For me, this change has come about through its apparel line. Currently with brands like- Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England, Louis Philippe, Aditya Birla Group has it all. Especially for people like me, who look for a nice fusion between fashion and comfort, within having to worry about going over-budget. Aditya Birla Groups Pantaloons is one such example. It caters to the needs of all without having to compromise on quality. A nice dress? Fashionable formals? Casual and comfy clothes? – Pantaloons is the answer.
The deals and discounts offered by Pantaloons, on a regular basis, has helped me in staying up to date with the latest trends without having to worry about going over-budget. Shopping has never been this much fun before. Good quality and good price means a happy customer. Shopping is like a stress buster and Aditya Birla Group has made it possible for people like us to shop till we drop. In addition, it is a go to place for anything and everything when it comes to fashion – men or women, kids or adults. The trust (starting from our grandparents to us) that has developed over the years with the Aditya Birla Group is a cherry on top.
Being the youngest in the family has its own set advantages and disadvantages. In my case, it was no less than a blessing but then I had my own share of struggles that I had to overcome. From being the most pampered and overly protected child – living in a cocoon, I was brought to reality during my first job wherein, I had to shift from Delhi to Pune.
Having to shift cities, finding a place to live, getting financially independent, taking care of the house along with managing work and most importantly, doing all of this by myself without any help was a challenge. The excitement and nervous of my first job along with the pressure of getting things done, at the right time without compromising on other things, has not just helped me grow but has made me a better person.
Travelling all by myself at odd hours, from Delhi to Mysore (training) and then Mysore to Pune(posting), was new to me. There was a deep-seated shifted in the culture of Delhi and Pune, specially the outskirts. Dealing with clients on a daily basis, meeting deadlines, working in a team with a diverse set of people was a part and parcel of the daily life. Another thing that added to the pressure was the fear of safety because of odd working hours as it was an Australian project.
But, this is something that has made me grow as a person. Making mistakes and learning from them, determination, hard-work and most importantly not giving up. Not giving up was the key. It was way more than just a job. It was a learning experience or rather a life changing experience.
