It has always been my dream right from my childhood to do an MBA from a reputed institute in India. My focus never wavered from this ambition all these years and I did my best to score well in my graduation. Then came the biggest hurdle to reach my ambition, the CAT test. I was an average student when it came to arithmetic and due to the same reason I could not clear the CAT entrance in my first attempt.

This event depressed me. But I decided not to give up. I worked even more harder to clear the cut – off scores and the result I could not get the scores that will get me admission into a reputed institute. This was a crucial decision-making point for me weather to give another attempt in the succeeding year or to pursue MBA from any institute.  My family and relatives told that I am wasting my time and should go and join any institute that accepts the scores I got. I decided not to listen to these advices. With full determination and perseverance, I went forward to prepare myself for the next attempt. The result, I did it this time. I got the cut off required to get in T.A.Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), attended the interview, cleared it and got admitted.

I felt a sense of achievement and was feeling happy beyond boundaries. I had achieved one of the most important milestones in my life. But, it doesn’t finish over here. Now comes the major part of getting placement in a good company which will determine my career path. I have a strong determination that I will get that too.
